Remember it’s not the emotion that determines how you use that feeling, it is your consciousness. NJ
As most of my subscribers know, emotions have been the matrix in which I chose to sift through my experiences and learn in this lifetime. I have over two hundred videos, articles on my web site and my book The Wounded Heart all using emotional consciousness as a backdrop into which I enter my thoughts to gain understanding (most of the time this works for me). I cringe when I hear folks invalidate these feelings as constructs of the ego as they have all become my friends and my teachers. Still, to this day, new ones surface for understanding. Granted it’s really giving names to a range of feelings from the most difficult to the most joyful but if I had to distill years of seeking to work with and understand those beguiling energies that lift, push and pull us along our pathways in life, it would be the words I’ve quoted above.
The emotions are simply your response to a stimulus that you created to show you or teach you something and redirect you on your path. We spoke recently of emotions of rejection and anticipation and how to use them to create. We all came to this planet with an individual destiny we wished to complete so it makes sense that we provided the methods of corrections and redirection when we wander too far a field. The word destiny means to determine. So, we were given or we created the range of emotional energy translated into feelings which we can apply to help us determine and energize our destiny. And, if all of our collective ultimate destinies are to know love, then without our feelings and emotions how would we ever be able to have the experience love offers us: The end of duality and judgment as we see every human being as an expression of our ourselves.
So, as we close in on the end of 2012, make an agreement with yourself to use your emotions as the tools they were meant to be. You cannot stop generating them but each and every one of us can choose to use them consciously and constructively to change ourselves and our planet. There is not one without tremendous value. Are you up for a journey of inspiration and surprises? Join us in England, August 11-19, for a week of experiencing crop circles. England is the world-wide epicenter for these formations and already this summer there have been some beauties. The word is that the energies within them are powerful this year, as we approach the celestial configuration in December 2012.
No one can say for sure when and where a crop circle will appear but to be in SW England this summer increases the odds of being able to experience them. We will be headquartered in the historic town of Glastonbury and led by John Flanagan, a man steeped in the history and lore of the region and of crop circles, as well. His informed and intuitive guidance, his attention to the needs of the group, will insure a rich and varied journey for us. John can lead us through the well-known sites, of course, such as Avebury and Stonehenge; he is also familiar with sacred sites off the beaten track. In the morning, we can walk whatever crop formation(s) may have been created during the night; the rest of the day can be devoted to exploring places of interests in that area. Each day will unfold as it comes, supported by John’s wealth of experience and familiarity with the area. There is also a possibility of a 3-day trip to several ancient sacred sites in Cornwall in the latter part of the week.
The costs involved? That would depend somewhat on how many of us there will be. For a group of 4: Heathrow pickup and return, detour to Stonehenge, room with breakfast, and John’s services would total ca. $1500 per person. For a group of 8: same inclusions for ca. $1250 per person. The possible trip to Cornwall could add ca. $300 per person. Airfare is whatever you choose.

Rejection is God’s gift to you.
It is His way of telling you that you are in the wrong track.

Rejection from family, friends, mentors, teachers, bosses, ourselves and even complete strangers is something we all deal with continually throughout our lives. How it affects us emotionally depends on how deeply attached we are to the one handing out the rejection. Some are so very deep and painful, such as rejection by a spouse, a beloved sibling, a parent and a very best friend. While others are more casual such as rejection from a stranger or from an Email for example so we are more adept at shifting them relatively quickly.
As I pondered rejection I followed a string of the most difficult ones in my life and without exception, everyone threw me into a redirection of my energy whether it happened slowly with much painful resistance or swiftly soon after the blow. I realized that in EVERY case, I ultimately allowed a sense of freedom to fill that vacuum which led me to refocus my direction. For example, one painful shift led me to explore a different place on the planet and create an entirely new flow with a new community of people I may never have come to know had I stayed planted where I was. For years I had often journeyed back to the same place in Mexico feeling as if it was kind of like home and I did not see it was time for me to move on so my soul handled that for me. I see now it was like the baby bird being kicked out of the nest. Learn to fly and discover the world or close down and accept limitation.
The other thing I learned about rejection is that there are several types and they are very different as to cause and affect. Rejection can be very real such as being fired by your boss versus a more ambiguous thing such as not being chosen for promotion or credited for work well done. As with all emotions, it’s not the feeling that creates the outcome but how you choose to consciously use that feeling. That’s were Kathleen McGowan’s quote touches me so deeply. Just this understanding and point of consciousness will help me use rejection as a tool for redirection and freedom more easily and with less pain. I see clearly it has always been just that but imagine how much more quickly you could shift if you consciously used the rejection to make a different choice.
This doesn’t mean you wouldn’t feel the pain of rejection as it is that pain that makes us move. It is also often a time to grieve what was before you move on. In this case a review of the good times and the sweet heart connection goes a long way to help releasing the uncomfortable ending that, let’s face it, you created to send you on your way.
So this week take the rejection journey in your meditation. Allow several of your more notorious rejections (that would be ones that still hold an emotional charge for you) to surface and follow their threads of redirection in your life. With each one you will feel better and better. And just in case you haven’t yet bought the instrument of your rejection into gratitude and love, this would be an ideal time. Once we redirect both emotional and mental constructs we have attached to certain feelings, we set them free to empower and direct us. Now that’s progress.

Anticipation, or being enthusiastic, is an emotion involving pleasure, excitement, and sometimes anxiety in considering some expected or longed-for good event. Wikapedia
As Carly Simon put it in the opening of her famous hit song by the same name, We can never know about the days to come, but we think about them anyway. Well here’s the wonderful thing I have come to understand about the emotion of anticipation, it is an awesome tool of creation if you are willing to dance along with its energy. When you are creating something you really are excited about and expecting it to happen you awaken the emotion of anticipation and it is the force that drives you forward to manifesting your dream or your creation.
In order to anticipate something in the future, you must first believe it will happen and it is approaching, coming toward you. It is the excited energy that brings it in for you to experience. For example, once you decide to create a vacation you begin the process: where to go; when; with whom; fly or drive and so on. With each step you take your excitement grows and you begin to imagine the experience thinking about what it will look like, who you will meet and choices you may have while on vacation and so on. The longer the anticipation, the more energy of creation you have to work with.
In my own life, I recently attended a semi-annual family reunion at a resort in Georgia which I helped to plan. I consciously realized how much love energy I was creating for myself and my family with every wonderful thought and interaction I imagined. I used the energy of anticipation even during the four days to think about whom I would see and how I would feel at each event. The trick was being conscious of this feeling and using it. Of course, not much unfolded as I planned but it all unfolded in an incredible synchronicity better in most cases than I imagined. Where there were missteps, of course, they opened us all to new experiences and connection.
Many of my Spiritual friends and I have invested in the Iraqi Dinar which we are anticipating will revalue very soon. I am aware I could choose to feel frustrated that it hasn’t happened and yet instead I spend lots of time dreaming and creating how I will use the investment to make positive changes in my life and in the lives of others. I spend hours of time feeling how wonderful it will be and all the incredible and “impossible” things I can and will soon be creating. These dreams change from time to time. I am always going deeper and refining them and not just thinking about the financial shift but being in it, feeling it and the anticipation has created so much expanded thinking that I never would have considered if I thought it was not possible. So, my point being, no matter what happened at my family reunion or what happens with our investment, the energy and excitement of anticipation has kept energizing creation. I am sure almost all of you feel the excitement of “the shift” we all feel and believe it is being created. It is the anticipation of this wonderful new earth that keeps our minds creating it. If we didn’t believe it is unfolding, our creative energy would not be active therefore nothing would be changing.
So live every day as if it is Christmas Eve for those who associate with that feeling. You are not quite sure what you are going to experience but boy are you dreaming and looking forward to see what unfolds. It is true that you could anticipate something that you are dreading and yet the same energy applies. The more you think about how awful it is, the more awful you will create t to be. For me, the excitement of anticipation: “keeping me waiting” is incredible. Remember it’s not the emotion that determines how you use that feeling, it is your consciousness. Have some fun with anticipation this week. Invite it into your life. Use its energetic gift to create miracles and dreams bringing heaven to earth.

We are now half way through the infamous year of 2012. I think we can all agree change and chaos are the order of the day from weather challenges, economic upheaval, and health issues, to personal challenges and awakenings. On every level things are falling apart and regrouping and then doing it again and even again. This is a good thing because in no way can your mind predict the changes (perhaps you really are the mad hatter and why not!) and certainly it cannot provide reasonable outcomes. In fact our minds (or more accurately are egos) like to keep us in a big mind conundrum much of the time. Can’t get much done in our own confusion. So when you find yourself at the “Mad hatters Tea Party” why not create your own version.
As Lewis Carroll so poignantly understood when he took Alice into the amazing chaos and inconsistencies of Wonderland years ago, the only real reality may indeed be our steadfast belief in what seems to be the impossible. It was when Alice finally grasped this illusion that she took her power back and transformed that crazy reality into a new expansion. Welcome to Alice’s world.
I know all of you are feeling this magic so why not spend the second have of 2012 as we dance into the shift more fully creating and energizing consciously six impossible things before breakfast. In other words, where the illusion is showing you economic collapse, see abundance for everyone. Where the illusion is showing you may loose your job or you home, transform it into opportunity to live in a better place and do what you love, not what you have to do to survive. Where your life seems to be showing you what’s wrong create out of it an “impossible” right. It’s your wonderland and your choice. It’s your shift. Have some fun with this one.
